Jason Navota applies his understanding of the breadth and complexity of urban and environmental systems to sustainable planning and design. “Inspired development that takes advantage of natural forms and processes can support economic growth while protecting environmental assets.” Jason brings a diversity of local and regional experience to projects including river and corridor planning, green urban design, and land use planning and policy. Jason has authored a number of plans and publications on sustainable development, natural resource protection, greenway development, and watershed planning. He has shared his knowledge in community visioning sessions, design charrettes, and workshops, seminars, and conferences. Jason’s organization and communication skills, attention to client needs, and amicable personality have been significant assets to his projects and client relationships. Jason’s planning and design efforts focus primarily in the areas of master planning, guidelines and policy development, visioning, workshops, and seminars, residential neighborhoods and mixed use villages, urban green infrastructure and public space, and watershed and regional scale projects.
